Beautiful wildflowers on raised pavement have been sprayed and killed.

Reported anonymously at 10:31, Fri 8 June 2018

A couple of weeks ago the raised pavement along Sydney Buildings was an enchanting place to walk with a biodiversity that any wildflower meadow would be proud of. There must have been 25 different species of wildflower. Today when I walked along all the flowers had been killed and turned brown. Such a shame at a time when we should be celebrating biodiversity, ameliorating our city and encouraging wildlife in urban spaces. Could the Council consider these things in future, before sending teams to spray entire areas without consideration for unique habitats in pockets of Bath? Instead of feeing uplifted and connected to the City following my walk, I feel disappointed and miserable that a very special pavement has been treated as an ordinary one and been thoughtlessly ruined by a one size fits all Council policy.
