Flashing speed sign (labelled 1) outside my house has been switched back on but appears only to flash when dark and flashes 30 when it is in a 20mph zone. Reported anonymously at 11:45, Sat 11 July 2020 Speeding in this 20mph zone has increased alarmingly during the covid crisis. This includes boy racers in hatchback type cars and motorcycles travelling at well over 50mph. Urgent action is needed before a very serious accident occurs. There have already been 2 recent crashes outside my property where speeding cars have struck parked vehicles. At the very least the 2 flashing speed signs should be reinstated (the one outside my house has been switched back on but flashes 30 in a 20 limit (!) whilst the site of the second sign, a little further up the road, still has a post, and, presumably an electrical connection.
