Overgrown hedge on Broadmoor Lane seriously blocking traffic and child visibility Reported anonymously at 16:39, Tue 27 October 2020 The hedge along Broadmoor Lane between WASPS primary school and the junction with Leighton Road is now seriously overgrown. B&NES has kept it trimmed in previous years but it is now well over 12 feet high in places and very wide as it does not appear to have been trimmed with the hedge cutter at all this year, and it is now overhanging the road and significantly impeding visibility. At the junction between the main part of Broadmoor Lane and the by road that leads to the "playpark" and orchard (a road which is very extensively used by WASPS parents morning and afternoon for dropping off and collecting their children) visibility for cars trying to rejoin the main part of the Lane is severely restricted and I have observed in recent weeks a number of "near misses" . This is a potentially serious accident, potentially involving children, waiting to happen if this is not addressed very soon.
