Pavement surface damage from Hobbs Wall to Herbert Gardens Reported by Sam Ross at 14:08, Thu 4 February 2021 This stretch of pavement has been in poor condition and deteriorating for a number of years, but the recent wet and then cold weather, followed by the mechanical street sweeper collecting leaves and debris from the edge has lead to the tarmac being ripped up. This is a well used path by parents and children from Hobbs Wall, dog walkers, runners and people visiting the allotments. The tarmac debris and potholed path make the surface continually challenging and dangerous, especially when there is also surface ice at this time of year.
