Chicane on a blind bend Reported anonymously at 10:54, Thursday 24 March 2022 Following the recent cycle lane work (which I fully support), someone has chosen to place a chicane on a blind bend. I’m theory, cars should be approaching slowly but this has been a 50mph road for decades. My wife edged out today and was met by a truck doing at least 30mph. It’s only a matter of time before there’s a head on accident. It either needs removing or manning with a full time traffic officer who can see around the bend and call traffic forward when it’s safe.
