Wall at back of car park over grown Reported by Maisie Ryan at 09:31, Wed 4 May 2022 To whom this may concern, My name is Maisie Ryan and myself and my boyfriend, William Warman, are the new owners of Flat 1, 18 Walcot buildings. We could not be more delighted to have bought our first home together are are beginning to settle in nicely. However, I wanted to make you aware of something that is causing an issue. Our beautiful garden is surrounded by gorgeous baths stone that we were so proud to own and show off in our new, grade 2 listed home. Unfortunately, the birthstone is not in the greatest condition due to a huge amount of Ivy encasing the wall over the past what looks like 20 years! We have now stripped it back and have revealed the beautiful bath stone wall. Unfortunately, the bath is not in the greatest condition due to a huge amount of Ivy encasing the wall over the past what looks like 20 years! We have now stripped it back and have revealed the beautiful bath stone wall. What we have now discovered is that beyond our bath stone wall, there is a void and then a further wall which we presume to be maintained by the council as it is next to a council run and maintained car park. The void between the two walls is so overgrown, we would love to discuss the responsibility of whom it should be to get this cleared up In order to stop our beautiful Bath stone wall, that is listed, from any further damage as well as improve the image of the car park for those who use it. Hoping to hear back from you soon about what is to be done around this issue and how it will be resolved. Thank you for your time Kind regards Maisie Ryan
