100m length of road has vegetation encroaching 2ft into the road Reported anonymously at 21:39, Mon 20 June 2022 The northern side of Bath Road for almost the entire distance of ~100m between Wellow Mead and Withyditch Lane has dense leafy vegetation overgrowing into the road well past the curb. The curb is barely visible behind what looks like years of unswept plant debris. I believe the vegetation belongs to the Cricket Club, but I'm not sure. There is also an unofficial path through the vegetation onto the cricket grounds where on several occasions children and dogs have suddenly appeared in front of vehicles with zero visibility (this is roughly level with the small white "Surgery" road sign on the southern side of the road. A few weeks ago workmen closed the lane and cut the top of the trees to clear them away from power/telephone lines that run alongside the road - the weight of fallen branches has only made the situation worse, pushing the lower branches further out into the road. No idea why they didn't cut it all back at the same time. Thanks
