Side roads at Cranwells Park too narrow for parking, making it dangerous for pedestrians when lorries mount the pavement Reported anonymously at 09:39, Wed 22 March 2023 The side roads of Cranwells Park are too narrow for cars to pass parked cars. Lorries and vans drive down the pavement at speed. This is a danger to pedestrians who have to jump to safety. This has been an issue for schoolchildren. Also the pavements have sunk due to heavy lorries, making it more treacherous. Solution would be to have double yellow lines on all side roads of Cranwells Park, or at least single yellow to reduce day time parking which is when the problems occur. This issue has got worse over last few years with more vehciles parked in the day, often with wheels on the pavement.
