There are at least two blocked and damaged roadside drains at the village end of Stichings Shord Lane, Bishop Sutton, BS39 5TZ causing significant road flooding during high rainfall. They are both close to each other, with one opposite 'Veryan Cottage' and the other opposite 'Meelup' on the RHS of the road, at approx W3W ref: ///foremost.available.guests.
I have cleared one and it clearly shows an approx 200mm clay pipe with no cover, grate, or sump (assumed missing) so it just blocks quickly, and the other (opposite Meelup) is still buried.
The recent floodwater depth was locally over 500mm so a risk to cars and potentially properties.
