Unsafe steps in Saw Close (The option categories do not include reporting unsafe steps)

Reported in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 17:38, Wed 9 May 2018

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 1307250.

New steps opposite the Theatre Royal have no colour difference between the edge of the step and the paving that you step down onto. My husband missed his footing on a step this afternoon as he failed to see it and less than 10 minutes later a lady fell at the same location. Clearly this is a health and safety hazard and the edge of the shallow steps need to be clearly defined in some way. Nicky Almond

  • A chat to the doctors at the RUH's A & E department would confirm that these steps have sent several people there already.
