  • Please note that the vegetation on the left of the A37/A39, just pass the traffic lights at Farrington Gurney, going south and up Rush Hill, is getting so tall and dense that we cannot see any oncoming vehicles while we exit our drive. Because of the various signs (50 speed limit, road bends to the right etc), cars speed from the traffic lights and are not aware of our driveway until it is too late. We have to ease out onto the road slowly before we can see whether vehicles are approaching. We have phoned and reported it, but unfortunately it has not been cut. However the grass verge between the pavement and A362 has been cut! Please can this tall and dense vegetation be cut before a serious accident occurs as it is a serious safety issue? If you are in doubt about this, then please do feel free to drive (with a car - not a van) onto our entrance and then try and leave by turning right. Unfortunately I have not got any photos to show yet, but can issue you with some later if required.
