Blocked gulleys requiring deweeding/sweeping

Reported in the Flooding of a road or pavement category anonymously at 11:38, Mon 21 May 2018

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 1317669.

Blocked gulleys requiring deweeding/sweeping

The gulleys on either side of the road along DAFFORDS BLDGS, LARKHALL PL, EDEN VILLAS etc are blocked with a variety of dead leaves, litter and weeds - it is in a pretty poor state in places. As such when it rains the run off does not run to the drains correctly and floods over the road/pavements. A complete dewed / road sweep of the gulleys and pavements is required as this does not normally present as a problem.

  • There is now a very large amount of debris - which has now gathered at the end of the road at its junction with st saviours road - it is a large mound of debris blocking the final run off drain before meeting the main road causing run off to over pour into the main road instead this creates problems for garage opposite which is being flooded due to excess water
