The verge running along the pavement between Blathwayt cottages and Walcot Old Boys RFC has grown onto the pavement in places presenting a serious risk of slipping etc particularly for elderly who use this route. Noted that it is scheduled for future work, how long into the future is it likely to be as it is getting proportional worse as the summer looms.

The pavement continually gets narrower as more vegetation is left to grow and leaves build up. Now it is a mucky trail that is very dangerous. From the Blathwayt to Beckfords Tower. Why not clear the pavement which is probably a metre wide rather than cut the verge??? The first message was 2018, it is now Dec. 2020. I have trimmed the bushes myself and cleared up trash.

Instead of cutting the wild flowers back why not clear the asphalt foot path back to its original width? There would be less maintenance if you could clear just the path.
