Large chunk of wood protruding into the carriageway
Reported in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 10:46, Tue 31 July 2018
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 4 minutes later. Council ref: 1376791.
Dear Sir
There’s a large chunk of wood protruding into the carriageway on the left-hand side going up Brassknocker Hill just after the ‘Z’ bends and before the entrance to Combe Grove Manor Hotel. This is causing a potential hazard to traffic and needs to be dealt with on an urgent basis.
Yours faithfully

I have just driven up Brassknocker Hill and this dangerous branch is still there, protruding into the road from the hedge about 4 feet above the ground where it will damage vans etc coming up the hill, or cause an accident if drivers try to take avoiding action. I noticed this branch on 20th July as I was returning from an appointment in Warminster and I could not believe my eyes when I saw it still is there today, somewhat battered and without leaves but just as dangerous. Please could you remove this hazard immediately. Many thanks David Koerper
