New Crossing Island causing massive traffic jams into Bath as it stops traffic flowing into the 2/3 lanes at the traffic lights
Reported in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 19:11, Mon 29 October 2018
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 1448860.
Traffic builds up back to the car wash before the Twertin Mill student accommodation all because the traffic cannot flow into lanes anymore by the new build apartments at the traffic lights by due to new crossing island pushing all the traffic into one lane. A crazy situation which is causing major traffic & pollution when BANES are trying to promote ‘Breathe’- this island needs removing to let the traffic flow.

The crossing is still there and the island is still causing disruption as traffic filtered into one lane then back out into 3 at the traffic lights
