Hand Rail removed

Reported in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 17:41, Wed 31 October 2018

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 4 minutes later. Council ref: 1450534.

Following my report that the hand rail to the steps outside 2 BrunswickPlace was loose, I see that one of the set of hand rails has been removed. Was this carried out by BANES and can you confirm that it will be replaced? Presumedly they date from the Georgian period so it would be a great shame to have them thrown away. Also removing them means that the steps are now out of keeping with the other ones on this side of the street.

  • It's been 4 months now and I see that the hand rail that you removed still hasn't been replaced. If it has been lost or thrown away could it be replaced with a new one so that it is safe to use and in keeping with the rest of the street?
