19 March 2019. I was in this road yesterday. There are at least 4 of the 5 or 6 gulluy drains in this section of St Stephen's Road that are not visible due silt/mud etc. The mud over the gully drains near top of St Stephens Steps is particularly thick and wet . Clearly no work has been done since this matter was reported on 6th February 2019. Heavy rain would cause both pavement and part of roadway to flood.

04/04/19. I was in this road last week and today. Last week it looked as though most of surface debris and mud had been cleared from gully drains near top of St Stephen’s Steps. The other gulley drains in this section of the road were obscured by parked cars so I cannot comment on their state. There used to be yellow no-parking lines around these drains but they have worn away so inevitably car park over them even when they are not hidden by debris and mud. .
Today { 04/04/19} I passed through this section of St Stephen’s Road at 10:35. Prior to that, it had been raining quite heavily. At the gully drains near the top of St Stephen’s Steps the raised pavement was flooded for a length of about 3 meters. The roadway at that point was also flooded nearly to its middle for a length of about 6 metres. This would indicate that these gully drains have still not been un-blocked. The other gully drains in this section of the road were not visible. KRW
