Overgrown hedgerows on Stoney Lane between Saint Clements Raod and Chewton Keynsham

Reported in the Overgrown public spaces & parks category anonymously at 12:06, Wed 6 March 2019

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 1563497.

The hedgerows have become totally overgrown and I am concerned when the spring and summer growth start the extra width will totally obstruct the lane so it will become impassable and difficult to negotiate. I have difficulty walking and the vegetation makes the underfoot surface damp and slippery. The surface of the lane has deteriorated over the winter and also needs attention. I have fallen there twice, last Monday 04/03/2019 being the latest occurrence. I regularly use this lane since the farmer closed field access at the top of St. Clements to walk to Chewton Keynsham. This needs urgent attention as hedge cutting will soon cease when the birds next.
