Speed detection sign

Reported in the Damaged road sign category anonymously at 09:24, Thursday 14 March 2019

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 1571492.

The speed detection sign attatched to lamp post on A362 at West road, midsomer Norton is not working and hasn't been working for the last week? Its not much of a deterrent if its not working is it?? Any chance it can be repaired and switched back on? We Need some other form of positive traffic calming on this road before there is a bad accident , most road users are using this road as a cut through driving way to fast , thought this road was a 30mph limit not a go as fast as you can limit!!!! Its only a matter of time before somthing serious happens?
