Pothole - just past the turning for the Lansdown racecourse
Reported in the Damage to road category anonymously at 08:48, Tuesday 26 March 2019
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 1584028.
The issue that I have experienced was: whilst driving along Bath road / lansdown road just past the turning for the lansdown racecourse i hit a pothole in the carriageway that caused damage to my nearside tyre and alloy rim
It occurred on: 20/12/2018 or 21/12/2018 will check and confirm exact date
This meant that had to purchase a replacement tyre and alloy wheel and the tracking needed adjusting
Compensation for value of wheel and tyre and tracking i had to purchase
I took pictures of the pothole at the time and a picture of the damaged rim which i can supply later if required
Compensation for damage i will be happy with £75
I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. As recommended by Trading Standards, I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account.
