The location is about 100 m above the hairpin bend, close to lamppost no. 9. Mud is being washed down the road and, together with leaves, is blocking the drain. Council reported by email that they had resolved the problem & cleared the drain, but they didn't do the job. They must have got lost.

Reported in the Blocked drain: Blockage inside drain category anonymously at 18:09, Tue 16 April 2019

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 1605269.

This problem has been here for many weeks now, and when it rains the road floods and water rises over the pavement.

  • Position of this drain problem is not marked correctly on the map. It should be some 50 meters or so along St Stephens Rd to the Northeast, just beyond where the short cut footpath (marked in red on your map) meets St Stephens Rd., beyond lamppost No. 9. The drain is completely blocked by leaves and mud.
