Highway Safety Hazard, building material on road

Reported in the Objects in the road category anonymously at 12:01, Wednesday 1 May 2019

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 4 minutes later. Council ref: 1618064.

Mountain Wood, near to the new dwelling being built next to 35A Mountain Wood The site itself appears too small to hold the materials that are arriving, these are now being stored at the front of the development on Curo owned land and also on the pavements. No wheel chair users, or parents with pushchairs can use this pavement safely as it’s currently being blocked with a delivery of bricks. Again, this compromises safety as pedestrians are forced in to a road on a corner. The height of the bricks on the corner of the road are also obstructing the view of vehicles on the corner of the road and is extremely dangerous. Whilst Mountain Wood isn’t particularly busy during the day, this completely changes at school drop off and pick up.
