Loose grit on both sides of Northampton Street
Reported in the Potholes & road surface category anonymously at 18:55, Sat 11 May 2019
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 5 minutes later. Council ref: 1626966.
Loose grit in the parking bays on both sides of the road above the Northampton Buildings junction. This is dangerous for pedestrians and causes wheel spin to vehicles on this steep road. Personally I have already come to grief in a fall. Problem present for many months.

Northampton St was 'resurfaced' a few years ago - except that rather than clearing cars away and doing a proper job, the resurfacers filled in holes in the road surface here and there. Then they packed up and went home early on a Friday afternoon before they'd got to the edges of the street! The road surface has completely worn away, exposing the stones underneath, in a number of places and this has been reported several times.
