Faulty footpath/ personal injury
Reported in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 15:01, Tue 28 May 2019
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 4 minutes later. Council ref: 1641919.
On Sunday 26 May 19 at approx 1320, my family and myself where travelling along the footpath marked on the attached map. This is between the junction of Stsunton Lane and Craydon Road. My three year old child was on his scooter and fell off due to the poor state of repair of the footpath. This resulted in hospital treatment for a puncture wound above his upper lip along with many other cuts and bruises and a loss of blood. This was entirely caused by the poor state of repair to the footpath and it being unsuitable for wheeled vehicles. As it is a recognised cycle path, I dread to think what would happen to someone cycling at a greater speed than my son was travelling. As I am sure you can understand this caused great distress for my son and the family to see him end up in this state. I would hate to think of it happening again. The dropped pin on the map gives the location of the incident. I look forward to hearing from you with a response as to how you are going to make right this wrong doing.
