Ongoing dumping of garden waste in amenity land adjacent to footpath

Reported in the Vegetation blocking road or sign visibility - In the countryside category anonymously at 15:22, Sat 15 June 2019

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 5 days, 22 hours, 24 minutes later. Council ref: 1661901.

This is an ongoing problem (over 2 years) of local residents (who have been witnessed) using this attractive area of wooded land to dump their garden waste. The footpath is known as 'Donkey Lane', connecting Perfect View and Claremont Buildings, and there are two areas of dumping: one on the sharp corner near the top (where currently the mound of waste is covered in summer vegetation) and one lower down where it clearly visible: both are on the south(valley) side of the path. The woody material does not biodegrade and it is just piling up and spoiling this peaceful nature environment for all. I am reporting it so that a message can be sent / signage / CCTV put up to show those responsible that itis illegal, antisocial and unacceptable. PS I am not sure if the land is council-owned but I'd be sure the footpath is. PPS on the opposite side of the path is a vegetable garden which has a compost area - this is not the subject of this complaint.
