Dangerous plant in open grassy area

Reported in the Overgrown public spaces & parks category anonymously at 19:19, Sat 22 June 2019

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 1670707.

Urgent. There is a giant hogweed growing in the uncut grassy area between the London Road and Beaufort East. The sap of this invasive non-native plant causes burns that need medical attention and can last for months. The plant is flowering and if allowed to set seed could cause problems over a much wider area. Please dispose of it (preferably without burning yourselves!) Thank you
