Brambles & vegetation overgrowing narrow pathway at side of 50 Whitewells Road

Reported in the Obstructive vegetation category by Carolyn May at 18:52, Thursday 11 July 2019

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 1693322.

Vegetation including brambles overhanging a narrow path, some at eye level of young children. This has been reported over several years to both BANES and Curo neither of whom have taken responsibility for ownership of the land leaving the family of the elderly resident in no 50 to cut it back themselves. This is an ongoing health & safety issue. Someone could lose an eye or be badly scratched by the brambles.

  • Haphazardly cut to a poor standard. Cuttings left on footpath rather than taken away and possibly recycled. In my opinion left looking a mess.
