Danger to children coming out of the park area onto the road

Reported in the Play area safety issue category anonymously at 10:39, Mon 15 July 2019

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 1696382.

People are parking their cars on the road directly in front of the park area in Gores Park, this is on a tight bend and where the road narrows. Due to the tightness of the corner there is a health and safety issue with people parking on the road, as Children have been known to come out the park and run across the road between the cars so there is a risk of people being run over. There are quite a few young children living in Gores Park and this is a popular location for families to locate to, so this will be an ongoing issue. Could we get double yellow lines on the road outside the park so as to prevent people parking in front of the park, or some sort of enforcement? Many thanks
