Overgrown vegetation hanging over half of pavement next to barber shop
Reported in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 12:22, Thu 18 July 2019
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 1700718.
Overgrown vegetation (much of it thorns, brambles and nettles) hanging over more than half of the pavement next to the barber shop on Whiteway Road. People can now only squeeze past in single file with arms by their sides and it's impossible to get past with a pram, pushchair or wheelchair. The problem is made worse by the barber shop customers parking half of their vehicles up on the pavement, therefore causing an extremely narrow, scratchy and stingy passageway. Action needs to be taken against the barber shop customers parking on double yellow lines.

Getting worse. Not only blackberry thorny branches but other bushes and tree branches hampering safe walking on pavement with heavy traffic for 50 yards and more. . Now very dangerous.

Car parked half on pavement and half on faded double yellow lines outside the barber shop on Whiteway Road forcing pedestrians to walk single file up against the thorns and nettles.

Another ignorant and selfish person has parked their vehicle half on the road on top of faded double yellow lines and half on the pavement outside the barber shop on Whiteway Road. If I had been waking along this road with my son in his push chair we would have probably not been able to get through or at best had to squeeze between the van and the bushes full of thorns and nettles.
