Road sign on wall of 8 Dowding Rd removed by owners and not replaced
Reported in the Street nameplate damage category anonymously at 22:09, Tue 30 July 2019
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 1714296.
In 2017 planning permission was given for a reconstruction of the front boundary wall at 8 Dowding Rd. As part of this work the road sign affixed to the wall was removed. The wall has been finished for about a year now but the owners/builders have not replaced the sign. Details of the application 17/01823/FUL are here: https://www.bathnes.gov.uk/ publisher/ docs/ 65CCA2DBFE491D3232ADB814926014E5/ Document-65CCA2DBFE491D3232ADB814926014E5.pdf The accompanying photographs clearly show the old sign on the front of the wall. I sincerely hope that the property owners or the builders will meet the costs of this replacement and not expect this to be borne by council tax payers.
