Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 1725368.
This may not be the right area to report this problem but I needed to get something in writing as soon as I could. This morning before 9am some damage was done to a wall dividing our property from the neighbours. The only substantial vehicles in the road at that time were the garden and household recycling lorries. This was an unusual occurrence as normally the household vehicle does not come until lunchtime. Although I cannot prove that one of the vehicles caused the damage that is where my suspicions lie. Wall was fine when the bins were put out but by 9am damage was done. No driver came to the house to advise us of the problem, they may have left a note next door, but I am unable to confirm this at the moment. Would you please be able to speak to the drivers concerned on this round (Thursday) and ascertain if they are aware of this? As people would also have been on foot around the vehicles I am sure they would be. Obviously I have no firm proof but as they were the only vehicles in the area it looks as though it may have been one of them. It is now going to involve rebuilding costs and so if the drivers do recall this then insurance details will be needed. Regards
Thank you for your report, it will be reviewed by the appropriate team.
