Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 1735718.

Vegetation is narrowing width of footpath making it difficult to walking into vegetation. Also forcing walkers near nearly step into the road. Maggs Lane is already dangerous with drivers ignoring 6' 00" width limit. Please deal as it is proving unsafe.

  • The verge area between the road and the pavement was a grassed area. The vegetation has been allowed to grow to a height of 6 feet in some places. It makes pedestrians using the footpath vulnerable if using the path alone and in the dark. It also makes the small brook virtually invisable. Please ensure that the area tidied up, back to a grass verge and then maintained. Thank you.

  • The two gentlemen who dealt with the problem have made a massive improvement. They were also polite and provided adequate safety warnings whilst walking my dog through the path. I would like to recommend them for a reward as they went beyond the standards required. Thank you again.

    State changed to: Fixed
