Non working street light Ivy Grove
Reported in the Street light fault category anonymously at 20:01, Mon 9 September 2019
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 4 minutes later. Council ref: 1761860.
Street light number 2 and 3 not working in Ivy Grove. I’ve reported this countless times now. Each time my query is closed saying instructions given to contractor. Clearly your contractor doesn’t appear to be either able to attend or fix the fault. Grateful if you could escalate or let me know how I do. Thank you

We are looking into this issue further as the fault with the lights seems to be re-occurring. We have asked our contractors to re-attend and resolve this issue as soon as they can. You can check back here for further updates. An e-mail has also been sent directly to confirm this.

Well it’s now October and the lights are still not working. Nights are drawing in and it’s appalling that elderly residents have to stumble around in the dark. These lights have been reported faulty a number of times since April 2019

We are sorry for the delay in these lights being repaired. We have asked our contractors for an update on what work is required to get the lights working again. We have asked them to resolve any issues urgently and will continue to monitor this situation. We shall provide more information when known.

We can confirm that our contractor's will be attending week commencing 28th October. Please note they will be providing a new power supply to light 2 which feeds light 3, so after the works are complete light 2 and 3 should be working correctly. The report is now closed, further comments may be added as required.

Well another broken promise.
No sign of workers and still not lights
You might consider not closing incidents until someone confirms the work has been concluded.
I await your response so I can inform the residents.
6 months now without reliable lights.
I’ve cc’d Bath’s MP and both local councillors in the hope something might happen
