Wellsway 40 MPH Mouldy Obscured recent crash
Reported in the Road sign damage category anonymously at 12:59, Wed 2 October 2019
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 1789683.
The left hand 40 MPH is obscured by trees when approaching form Burnett, therefore traffic is still continuing at the national speed limit 60 MPH previously well signed. This happened last year until i report it after yet another accident. Yesterday there was also another car pile up on the Courtney road\Homestead junction as shown. A pile of glass is still left on the pavement. They cleared the wheels and suspension arms away thank fully. I would kindly you ask you to improve this accident black spot, Children live on the opposite side and cross this busy very fast road. You have horse crossing signs but nothing to warn drivers of children crossing daily! Further down you have installed dropped kerbs but have done nothing to this busy entry point into Keynsham. Because crossing here for children and elderly and the much faster speeds I would expect BETTER crossing aids and NOT to just be ignored as if we are not in a residential area. Election promises have done nothing for this area.
Thank you for your report, it will be reviewed by the appropriate team.
