Wasp nest on Gooseberry Lane

Reported in the Dead animals category anonymously at 16:44, Wednesday 2 October 2019

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 1790115.

I use Gooseberry lane (which is really narrow) everyday and there is a wasps nest with some angry wasps. I think they are angry because school kids throw things at it. A couple of times I have been stung by the wasps. I think it needs to be urgently removed for the safety of the kids who just want to go home.

Updates

  • This issue is now on social media and a large number of, mainly, Wellsway students have been stung. The wasps next is visible from the path and some children are throwing missiles at it which isn’t helpful. Although the problem will disappear soon, I hope you will take action now.
