There is flooding at the bottom of Highfields due to the first three drains being blocked as you enter Highfields
Reported in the Dangerous road surface (including ice, mud, spillage or debris) category by Westfield Parish Council at 11:28, Wed 9 October 2019
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 1798232.
The first three drains as you enter Highfields are blocked. As you go down the hill on the A367 from the Methodist Chapel there are no drains - the first drain you get to is on Highfields. The first three drains in Highfields are blocked. This is causing flooding through Highfields all the way to the end. The problem is exacerbated by the birch trees in Highfields which need pollarding. They are now so large that their debris blocks the drains constantly. Please can this be looked at urgently and feedback given so that we can keep the residents informed. Many thanks
