Leaves, litter and debris everywhere
Reported in the Excessive or dangerous littering category anonymously at 18:37, Tue 5 November 2019
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 day, 16 hours, 3 minutes later. Council ref: 1833381.
There is quite a considerable amount of leaves and stuff on all pavements in Combe Down, especially after the storm at the weekend. We have many children walking around and neighbours who are in wheelchairs in the area and it is so unsafe when all the pavements are slippy with wet leaves and twigs etc. I saw on the website that there is a street cleaning rota but that was for 2018... obviously we are 2 months away from 2020 so thats not much use. I am sure if you put some notices out saying the days you would clean Combe Down, and ask for help from the community there would be people who would come out and help. However, the state of it at the minute is really unsafe and with sun setting at 16:30 each day its only going to get worse. I know weather and leaves etc cant be helped but we know winter is coming, we know trees drop leaves and we know we get bad weather. Now we need a clean up routine for this to make sure everyone is safe. Thank you for listening.
