Gulley chocked with soil, leaves and debris the whole length of the lane
Reported in the Excessive or dangerous littering category anonymously at 19:47, Thu 7 November 2019
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 20 hours, 7 minutes later. Council ref: 1836910.
The gulley extends down the whole of Rosemary Lane from the grit bin by Upper Mount Pleasant down to the bottom of the hill, with a short piece of a few yards outside Abbotsleigh Cottage where it is clear. The road is cambered to allow rain to flow off the road into the gulley. As it is blocked the lane becomes a river in heavy rain, which causes difficulty to pedestrians, children especially and the elderly. This gulley has not been cleared for four to five years.

I regret to inform you that the problem has not been resolved. Although the drains are clear, not all the water is flowing into them due to the fact that the gulley is blocked with grass, weeds and mud the whole length of Rosemary Lane from the grit bin by the path to Upper Mount Pleasant down to the bottom of the hill, with the exception of the part of the gulley outside Abbotsleigh Cottage, which is reasonably clear. I think that whoever came to fix the problem could not see that there was a gulley due to all the debris concealing it.
