For many years there has always been a dip in the pavement and a big puddle forming over an inche deep. There is no nearby street lighting and due to cars always parked half on the pavement, you are forced to walk through the water in the pitch dark. This is very annoying and inconvenient to walk around in wet socks and shoes. It is also a deterrent to walking and using the footpaths and an encouragement to use a car instead of walking.

Could the council remind residents of Purlewent Drive that it is illegal to drive on the footway/pavement and therefore they must not park on the footway. This illegal driving and parking which in addition to the damage caused above also puts pedestrians lives at risk. A simple leafleting of all offending cars perhaps in conjunction with Avon and Somerset would be a start. Particularly bad in the short section down to no 77 where the often the whole footway is blocked and the 'disabled' bay user near the entrance to The Cotswold way approx no 55 who often obstructs the footway - risking the lives of wheel chair/pram users who are forced to use road.
