Lack of drainage/flooding

Reported in the Flooding of a road or pavement category anonymously at 14:37, Fri 22 November 2019

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 1857876.

When there is any constant rain there is a huge puddle at one of the speed bumps on Redland Park/Pennyquick View car park area. There is no drainage and this always happens. Quite dangerous at night when it's not seen because of lack of light and also you can't cross the road without having to go all the way around it. It can take a day or two to 'disappear'. Ongoing over the last couple of years at least.

  • There are drains but maybe the angle of them isn't right as the water collects along that side of the road and doesn't filter away quickly.
