DANGEROUS FADED Roundabout markings
Reported in the Faded road markings category anonymously at 08:12, Mon 16 December 2019
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 1889856.
The road markings for the roundabout on the junction of Temple Street and Rock Road have faded badly. If you did not know the area, you may not even be aware of the roundabout markings on the road. Recently, I witnessed 3 horns blown, within 30 minutes, warning drivers who had driven, incorrectly onto the roundabout. With a light controlled pedrestian crossing also next to the roundabout, this is a serious accident waiting to happen. PLEASE repaint as soon as possible. Thank you.
Thank you for your report, it will be reviewed by the appropriate team.

From Alan Hale Cllr. Road Safety Advocate. This roundabout does need urgent attention to ensure we do not end up with collisions.
The roundabout at Rock Road / Ashton Way and the roundabout both need repainting for the same reason.
Because of the increased weight of traffic I believe the three locations should be on a programme for more regular repainting.
Best wishes Alan

The whole area around the roundabout is lacking road markings where the paint it has been worn away. This includes the three entry and exit points.
See the photo attached, it is night time and even with headlights on you can barely see anything on the road and that paint is supposed to be reflective.
