Blocked road drains in Kipling Avenue

Reported in the Blocked drain: Blockage inside drain category anonymously at 19:05, Mon 13 January 2020

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 5 minutes later. Council ref: 1935371.

Two road drains on opposite sides of Kipling Avenue - outside numbers 43 and 18 - are still, after 2 months, blocked with compacted road The muck is very deep and we cannot dig it - it needs heavy duty equipment. Leaf litter is accumulating and in heavy rain the gutters overflow on to the pavement because rainwater is not going down the drains. I reported this in November and received an email on 12 Jan 2020 to state that it has been fixed but it has not. All that has happened is that a white mark was made on the kerb in November to indicate the location, but no further action has been taken and it should not be categorised as fixed or closed.
