Continued flooding of road

Reported in the Flooding of a road or pavement category anonymously at 09:05, Tuesday 14 January 2020

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 6 minutes later. Council ref: 1936090.

Thank you for rodding out the drains adjacent to the West Harptree Cemetery on 10 January however the problem repeated on 13 January in exactly the same way as before; heavy rain running off field to west, through new gap in hedge with kissing gate then onto road before going into the exit of the Molly Brook culvert on B3114. The road gullys are designed for the road surface water not a field of 30 Acres which is now draining out through the eastern corner following the cemetery extension. Pre-extension the main flow off the field drained into Molly Brook at X (on picture above) with only small amount pooling in corner Y and as the hedge was continuous this didn't come onto the road. Following the extension this route has been altered resulting in the main flow out through point Y
