Road surface has lifted due to frost

Reported in the Objects in the road category anonymously at 14:21, Wednesday 29 January 2020

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 4 minutes later. Council ref: 1967773.

By the 30 mile an hour sign the the road surface has lifted, causing stone chippings to cover the drive of 106 The Wellsway. This is a hazard, and I am unsure of taking my vehicle out. This also causes a risk of skidding on the road. The 30 mile an hour warning sign has worn off.

  • The above photos show the extent of road damage. The gutters are filled with stones which could lead to drain blockages. Our drive was covered in stone chippings this morning’ I am fearful of a tyre punctures & skidding outside the house.
