Tree roots are creating humps in the road which make my car slip when I drive in and out

Reported in the Trees and woodland category anonymously at 15:30, Friday 31 January 2020

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 5 minutes later. Council ref: 1971823.

The parking for my house (16 Walcot buildings) is accessed from Bedford road between the carparks on Bedford street. The lane that leads to my parking is private but is lined with trees on the edge of the council car park. The tree roots have grown so high they have cracked the tarmac and created humps covered in needles that make my car slip as I drive in and out. These humps are now about 8 inches high. I am worrried that during the winter with wet or icy weather the car will slip into the fence for Bedford court either damaging it or my car, or both. The birds that sit in these trees also create a terrible mess on my car. Please can you come and visit to discuss the action that can be taken to make it safe for me to use my entrance.
