Water cascading down from Popes Walk into Perrymead and then into Ralph Allen Drive.
Reported in the Blocked drain: Blockage inside drain category anonymously at 21:07, Thu 13 February 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 16 hours, 38 minutes later. Council ref: 1997425.
The 2 grilles at the top half of PopesWalk are blocked. Water runs down into Perrymead and Ralph Allen Drive. Lots of it. The grill /grating by the Catholic Cemetery has disappeared under gravel etc. The grill/grating by the kissing gate at the rear entrance to The Abbey Cemetery is totally blocked so it cannot receive any water coming from above in Popes Walk. This is not a new conversation. I have both complained about the lack of this issue online and also spoken to a BANES person who came here showing him the problem but he was not able to understand, for some reason. The water issue must be addressed and the gratings cleared, easy to sort. We do not want water in our house! With a couple of workers and a vehicle it would be resolved in at most 1 hour.
