Give way road markings not visable

Reported in the Faded road markings category anonymously at 12:44, Thu 12 March 2020

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 2057737.

The give way markings are very unclear. As you drive up Herbert road the road bears to the right where oncoming traffic should give way. I have had 2 near misses in the last week where cars did not give way and drove at speed across the top of Herbert road as they couldn't see the markings. This is an accident waiting to happen and there needs to be clear signage indicating that the oncoming traffic should be giving way to the people coming up Herbert road. Twice I have had to take evasive action to avoid being hit at speed full on drivers side with my 8 year old daughter in the car. I have had to advise my wife not to use the road at all as it is not safe. The 2 drivers initially blamed me until I showed the the vague road markings of give way of which they both said they didn't see.
