Series of deep potholes along Holcombe Lane as you turn in from Down Lane.

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 2068678.
Series of deep potholes along Holcombe Lane as you turn in from Down Lane. These are now in such a bad state that the holes are unavoidable. I am aware of the wingmirrors of parked cars being clipped as people attempt to navigate around the potholes. The road is used heavily by residents in Bathampton as the road serves as a single entrance to many homes and is a regular bus route. If these are not fixed urgently then I would expect the council to start receiving lots of claims for damage to vehicles. Even if marked appropriately they are now unavoidable due to the size.

This work was done yesterday. It looks as though there are some other areas further along that still need to be done. However, the photos are of the sections that have been “repaired”. The work is really badly done with rough areas and potted areas around the new tarmac. As soon as normal traffic volume starts going over it, the whole thing is going to disintegrate again. If you have sub contracted this work, you shouldn’t be paying them. This is a complete waste of time and money.
