New Double Yellow Lines

Reported in the Faded road markings category anonymously at 18:12, Saturday 21 March 2020

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 2070080.

Recently some new double yellow lines have been painted at the junction with shophouse road with no local consultation taking away several parking spaces in an area where there is already a big shortage. Despite these spaces being in use for at least 4 years that we've lived on the street with no issues.

In particular there is a very wasteful gap between the new yellow lines and a reserved disabled parking spot that is not big enough for a car, if the lines had been a little bit shorter or the disabled bay moved then there would be an additional space available.
