Drain cover has been lifted and squashed by trees

Reported in the Trees and woodland category anonymously at 15:30, Monday 23 March 2020

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 5 minutes later. Council ref: 2071525.

Whilst checking out my rear garden wall (no 1), I noticed a round black MH cover has been squashed by nearby tree growth and has lifted revealing the drain underneath. This is in the scrubland at the rear of houses 1 and 2 Longthorne Place, part of the golf course. This is not mapped by Wessex Water as one of their assets. As this is open, debris could fall down and block this drain, or an animal eg a cat or small dog could get trapped down there. Please attend. Also, the felling of trees in this location was poorly done last year (summer), the workers have left the ground in a terrible mess with felled trees that looks awful, I appreciate conservation/habitat reasons for leaving trees to decompose, but the way they have been left is unacceptable and a terrible eyesore from my garden. The workers also stood on my steps and went through the bottom one.. I did not give permission for them to stand on my property.
